Michael, our webmaster, thought of the name Blog Squad for our K-State at Salina bloggers. What a brilliant name. It makes me think I am a part of some crime fighting team. Maybe I'll start wearing a cape to work. Hmmm.
Seriously, Eric is the true hero of the Blog Squad. If you haven't, check out his blog. That guy is amazing, and there are some great photos/video on his blog. We sure miss him here on campus. Come home soon, E-Rock!!
Anyway, I'm busy working on lots of projects today. I am so glad my student worker, Tricia, is back from OCS. I didn't know what that meant until she told me it was 'Officer Candidate School.' This was her second summer going to Virginia to train. It looks so draining, I don't know how she does it. That's her, doing situps at OCS. Bender Ball? Who needs that when you have OCS?
Any-whoo, one of her main jobs as a student worker is to clip all of the K-State at Salina articles out of the local papers. Well, I was too busy to do it myself over the summer, so when she showed up at the end of last week, there was a huge pile. Poor Tricia, she's been clipping for the past two days. Eek! Hand cramp! I'm lucky she has a good work ethic and a great sense of humor....

I agree and I stand by the idea of pics of you around campus in the costume being posted to the blog.
